Meet The Owner

It fills me with joy to introduce myself. My name is Frances Torres, and I am proudly Puerto Rican. We are a people who hold a deep and unwavering faith in God’s power and His endless mercy.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to visit our website—a space we’ve created with immense love, dedication, and hope.
I am the blessed mother of three beautiful children: my 15-year-old daughter, my energetic 3-year-old son, and my precious 5-month-old baby. Together with my husband, we decided to bring one of my greatest dreams to life by opening a childcare center in our home—a dream that, by God’s grace, has come true.
Today, we work hand in hand in our childcare group, guided by the belief that every child who comes to us deserves to be loved as if they were our own.
Our childcare is crafted to be exactly the kind of place I, as a mother, would wish for my own children—a place that is clean, organized, sanitized, beautifully decorated, modern, and above all, overflowing with love and warmth.
I hold two college degrees—a Bachelor’s in Social Work and an Associate Degree as an Early Childhood Teacher Assistant—which have prepared me to give my very best to every child who walks through our doors.
I’m truly grateful you’re here, and I can’t wait to meet the little star who shines in your child!

Meet Our Teachers

Ed Velez
Infant Room
Greetings! My name is Ednel Vélez. I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and I have five years of experience in the field of childcare.
I made the decision to leave my previous job as a commercial supervisor in the electrical industry to pursue a career in early childhood education, after discovering how rewarding it is to share knowledge and contribute to shaping future professionals from their earliest years.
I love what I do, and I have spent five years working in the Infant Room, where I care for and teach little ones with great love and dedication.

Danielys Rivera
Preschool Room
My name is Danielys Dayan Rivera, but you can call me Dayan. I absolutely love it when the children call me by that name!
I’m originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, and I moved to Pennsylvania a little over 10 years ago. I graduated from high school at the age of 17 and currently hold an Associate Degree as a Medical Assistant.
Since 10th grade in high school, I have been volunteering at our childcare center, which allowed me to explore and gain experience in all areas.
Today, I’m a Teacher in the Infant Room, where I love and care for the little ones with all my heart.
I am here to serve you!
Training & Education
All our employees undergo thorough background checks and hold certifications in Pediatric and Adult CPR and First Aid. Our entire staff is trained to respond effectively in emergency situations, ensuring the highest level of safety and care for every child in our center.

Philosophy
We deeply believe in the transformative benefits of early childhood education for every child. That’s why we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, loving, and high-quality educational environment where children can thrive intellectually, physically, and emotionally.
We have created a welcoming space where all children feel secure to learn and explore what makes each of us unique, yet beautifully connected. We wholeheartedly embrace the philosophy of inclusion and want you to feel that spirit from the very first day you step through our doors, all the way until the day your child takes their next big step beyond our daycare.
Health & Safety Practices

Our staff undergoes continuous training in health and safety practices, including the latest protocols and standards for pandemic response, ensuring your child’s well-being at all times. Since the beginning of our childcare, we have consistently remained below the community average for illness rates, setting a new benchmark within the childcare industry. To date, we have not been affected by any contagion incidents.
We work diligently to meet state standards and strictly follow CDC guidelines as protocols evolve and new challenges arise.
In these challenging times, our highest priority is to protect the health and safety of your child.
Our training spans from first aid for emergencies to best practices in sanitation, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for all children. We carefully disinfect everything that children come into contact with, working tirelessly to prevent the spread of germs in our classrooms. Our goal is for your child to be happy, healthy, and thriving.
While scraped knees are sometimes part of growing up, you can rest assured that your child will be cared for every day in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment.
Safety
Our centers are fully insured and designed to ensure that only authorized personnel and families have access.
Secure perimeters allow children to safely enjoy outdoor play areas. We utilize security doors, window bars (except at emergency exits), and safety plugs in all electrical outlets.
Our childcare facilities are equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, and radiators and heaters are safely covered to prevent children from coming into contact with hot surfaces.
Authorization: Only individuals who have been pre-approved and present valid photo identification are permitted to pick up your child.
Sanitation
At Growing up Together Group Childcare, we clean our facilities daily using safe and non-toxic cleaning products. All cleaning supplies are securely locked away and kept out of children’s reach.
We regularly disinfect toys throughout the day to help prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.
We teach our children good hygiene habits, guiding them to wash their hands several times a day through fun activities like singing songs and engaging health and hygiene lessons.
Diapering is performed in a dedicated area, separate from the children’s play spaces, to ensure cleanliness and safety at all times.
