It is my pleasure to introduce myself. My name is Frances Torres and I am of Puerto Rican nationality. We are people who faithfully believe in the great power of God and his mercy. I appreciate that you have taken the time to view our website which was created with a lot of love and enthusiasm. I am a mother of 3 adorable children. I have a 15-year-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, and a 5-month-old baby. My husband and I made the decision to create a place for childcare in our home, as it was one of my biggest dreams and it has already come true. Currently, we both work together in our Childcare Group and our motto is to love all the children who arrive, as we would love them like ours. Our Childcare is great in the way, that I, as a mother, would like to find a place for my children to be clean and tidy, disinfected area, decorated and updated, and above all full of love. I have 2 college degrees, a Bachelor of Social Work and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Teacher Assistant. I am very happy that you are here and oh to meet a little star.

Philosophy

We believe in the benefits of early childhood education for all children. For this reason, we strive to provide a safe, nurturing, loving, and high-quality educational environment that maximizes the intellectual, physical, and emotional growth and development of our children. We have created a welcoming environment for all that provides children with a safe place to learn and explore what makes each of us the same and different. We embrace the philosophy of inclusion and want you to feel it from the first day you walk through our doors to the day your child leaves our Daycare.

Health & Safety Practices

Our staff undergoes training on health and safety practices, including new protocols and standards on pandemic responses so you can be sure of your children. Since our childcare began, we have remained below the community average, which means that our approach has set a new standard within the child care industry, so far we have not been affected by contagion.

We work hard to meet state standards and follow CDC guidelines on ongoing and evolving protocols.

Our main effect in this time of crisis is to protect the health and safety of your child.

We train in first aid for emergency situations to sanitation and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for children. We disinfect everything that children touch us to prevent the spread of germs in our classroom we want your child to be happy and healthy. Although scraped knees are part of the growth process, you can be confident that your child will be cared for in a safe and nurturing environment every day.

Safety

Our centers are insured so that only authorized personnel and families can enter.

Safe perimeters ensure that children can safely enjoy outdoor play.
We use security doors, bars on the windows (except emergency exits), and plugs on the electrical outlets.
Our Childcare includes smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
Radiators and heaters are covered to prevent your child from touching something hot.

Authorization: Only pre-approved people with photo identification may pick up your child.

Sanitation

We clean our Childcare every day with safe and non-toxic cleaning products.
Cleaning supplies are kept locked out of the reach of children.

Growing up Together Group Childcare disinfects toys during the day to help prevent the spread of germs.

We instruct our children to wash their hands during the day by singing songs and teaching lessons on health and hygiene.
Diapering is done in an area separate from children's play areas.
